George Whiteside’s work has earned countless awards, grants and publications, and belongs to numerous permanent collections such as the Art Gallery of Ontario, the Canadian Museum of Contemporary Photography, Hamilton Art Gallery and the Canada Council Art Bank. Whiteside (born 1956) has been creating images for 25 years, and currently works and resides in Toronto where he had established a successful career as a photographer / artist.
